Lila was born to a couple on the outskirts of the district, and was the youngest of 5 children, each born a year apart.  Her mother worked in the saw mill, while her father worked as a logger.  Cutting down trees fascinated Lila as a child, and she started her axe training when she was only 7.  It wasn’t until the girl was reaped that she ever saw a reason to use it.  And as she was abandoned by her family as the reaping announcement came, the girl used the opportunity to prove to her family that they had made a mistake.  And it was something that as a tribute Lila thrived in.  Her best weapon was deception, as she used tears to fool the others into believing that she was weak.  But with the advantage that it brought, came the price of a ruthless reputation, one that the girl embraced upon coming out of the arena. 

Never wanting to risk getting hurt by another person, Lila continued to give into her violent nature, willing to fight anyone for no reason at all.  However as the years went on, she began to discover cracks in the wall she had so forcibly put up.  First came Harrison Addams, providing her with love that she didn’t think she deserved, but couldn’t help but reciprocate.  And then came Aleks Ethon, giving her a friendship that was deeper than Lila believed possible.  As both of them slowly started breaking down parts of her shell, the woman still would rather make friends than enemies, still wary of getting hurt if she let too many people in.

However the goal of avoiding people seemed to get more difficult after she found herself pregnant herself.  After a failed attempt to keep the Capitol knowing about her twins, a new image of a mother started to form.  And though it made her look less violent to the public, the woman still refuses to let people get in, now fearing for the constant threat the government has on her children as well as for herself.
